MP Bobi Wine, the unsuccessful candidate of the last presidential election, was arrested on Monday by the police for an unauthorized demonstration in Kampala, according to Ugandan media.
Took down the streets of Kampala this Monday with some deputies and activists to demand the release of several of his fellow fighters who were arrested before and after the presidential election which saw the re-election of President Yoweri Museveni, after 35 years of undivided power.
"Bobi Wine was arrested while leading a peaceful protest by MPs and other leaders against the kidnapping, torture and murder of his supporters," he wrote on his Twitter account.
